Boxerontherun was established in 1997. My passion for the AKC Boxer breed began at a used car lot in Saugus Ma. looking for a car. I would have never believed what happen that day change the rest of my life. Walking through the lot I turned and saw a large boxer slowly approaching. At that moment my heart rate elevated quite a bit. My thought was ," is this dog going to eat me! " I remained calm . Instead he drew closer so close he proceeded to lean into the side of my leg. Instantly I realized all was well. All he wanted from me was to be patted on the head. I had never experienced such tender loving care from a dog before.
From that moment on I, was completely smitten with the Boxer breed.
